Making Informed Decisions
Without the proper knowledge and information we often fail to make informed decisions, allowing ourselves to be caught up in the moment of labor and delivery easily swayed by emotion, fear, poor advice or persuasions and causing us to loose sight of the course we originally wanted.
All pregnancies, labors and births have the opportunity to experience unforeseen or unwanted twists and turns, but having the knowledge and the information empowers us to make decisions in those moments which best fit our desires for our birth outcome.
The goal in all cases is to have your best birth possible, in whatever ways make it your best experience. But those paths must be carefully thought out and considered long before labor starts.
